The historic mosque where the poet Waris Shah lived and finished his Punjabi epic “Heer” in 1766.
In a small room (hujra) beside this mosque in Malka Hans, about 12 km from Pakpattan, Waris Shah wrote Heer, the best-known telling of the Heer–Ranjha love story and a cornerstone of Punjabi literature.
